
In 1983, she conspired with her lover, Emporia minister Tom Bird, to kill his wife Sandy Bird, and then four months later to kill her husband, Martin Anderson. Since her parole and returning to her hometown of Hutchinson, Moore has spent the past nine years as an integral part of IHS, proving herself valuable to the organization that assists those of low to moderate incomes with housing needs.
