We stayed here for 2 nights on a short getaway to Kansas City. That afternoon we had more family join us and all of them (3 rooms) also had to wait well past check in time for their rooms as. The next morning at breakfast the same issue yet again, food was mostly gone and being replinished at a very slow pace. At the kickback we found most of the offerings empty and not being replinished but at a very slow pace. It wasn't available until 5:30 when the kickback started. Also we found no soda or popcorn available as it should have been begining at 3 pm each day. After discussing the issue with the desk employee we were given a small discount for our first night's stay. Well after 2 hours of waiting, our room was finally ready at 5 pm. So we all changed into our bathing suits in the lobby's public restroom as we were told it could be awhile before our room was ready. The employee at the desk showed absolutely no sense of caring that our room wasn't ready nor that we were quite tired. After having been on the road with 3 young children for several hours we were not ready to sit in a lobby and wait either. Upon arrival, yes at check in time, we found that the hotel was still getting rooms ready and had no rooms available for us.
